Allison Kelly is a trained and accomplished writer with a deep passion for the stories that add color and meaning to the human experience. Her empathic, gentle nature will put you at ease as you share your history, while her sharp, creative prose will bring those stories to vivid new life. Storytelling and family identity have been lifelong interests of Allison’s. As a young girl, she’d spend hours poring through boxes of her grandparents’ photographs and memorabilia, never tiring of discovering priceless treasures from the past.
Allison graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania, where she majored in French & Francophone Studies and received her Teacher’s Certification in K-12 French. Her senior thesis, an exploration of modern French literature’s depiction of childhood, was awarded a departmental prize. Since her college years, Allison’s role as a writer/educator has continued to enrich her personal and professional life in numerous ways. She has taught foreign language in both private and public schools; developed and edited content for standardized English exams; and analyzed and presented large amounts of complex information as a civil litigation paralegal. No matter the task, Allison’s communication skills have always enabled her to listen with grace and to present a clear, engaging written narrative to her audience.
Allison lives with her husband in southeastern Pennsylvania. When she’s not working to capture her clients’ stories, she enjoys reading, traveling, and trying new recipes.
